The Second Annual Andy Selfie Sleigh was a lot of fun this year! I enjoyed seeing all of your selfies taken at the sleigh. This year we added a chimney with smoke to the Selfie Sleigh (otherwise known as my cleverly disguised mailbox).
Also new this year, we used the Selfie Sleigh as a collection station for our annual coat drive for the One Warm Coat Foundation – and it was a huge success thanks to your incredible generosity.
We collected and donated over 200 coats plus countless sweaters, scarves, hats, & gloves/mittens to people who don’t have the means to buy new ones.
I’d like to give a special shout out to Girl Scout Troop 60130! These 4th Graders from Montclaire collected an enormous amount of coats, sweaters, hats, mittens/gloves for the One Warm Coat foundation. Check out the picture of the overflowing bin! These girls are AWESOME!
Thank you again for spreading the holiday spirit by visiting the Andy Selfie Sleigh and donating your winter items.
I’ll let you know when the Selfie Sleigh lands again next year!
Happy New Year!
